The Big Idea:

Unleashing Opportunity

Support a mission that’s changing lives through pet care — creating jobs, training, and access to care for communities that need it most.

a bold workforce development campaign to raise $750,000 to launch and sustain grooming training programs for underserved communities, supported by the tools, space, and resources needed to make them thrive.

Our STORY

When Brian founded Harlem Doggie Day Spa (HDDS), he imagined more than a grooming business — he envisioned a space where care, purpose, and opportunity came together. That vision came to life when he saw firsthand how grooming could offer more than clean coats — it could restore dignity, bring relief, and strengthen the bond between people and their pets.

After witnessing pet owners find hope through grooming in the aftermath of natural disasters, Brian launched the Pup Relief Tour. This initiative began as an emergency response and grew into a national movement of free grooming services, outreach, and community care.

Now, we’re taking the next step.

This program is built on one goal: expanding opportunity. By giving people the tools, support, and space they need to build lasting careers, we strengthen our communities. The simple act of hoping becomes the foundation for building something meaningful.

With your support, we will:

  • Provide career training for individuals reentering the workforce

  • Offer grooming certification programs to those in shelter, recovery, and transitional housing

  • Launch youth-focused grooming and job-readiness programs

  • Build out a space that supports training, mentorship, and expanded services

  • Grow the Pup Relief Tour’s national reach — delivering free grooming and education where it’s needed most

Your donation helps fund the programs, training hours, equipment, and the home base that makes it all possible.

Join us in building something meaningful — not just a space, but a movement.

What Your Support Makes Possible

  • More Space, More Impact

Your donation supports a dedicated training and service space — where pets receive compassionate care, and people gain the tools, mentorship, and experience they need to build a future in grooming. This space will serve as a hub for learning, healing, and connection — expanding services and preparing more individuals for careers in pet care.

  • Training the Future

We’re launching hands-on training programs that serve youth, survivors of domestic violence, and second-chance citizens. Through real-world experience, mentorship, and industry-recognized certification, we’re preparing new professionals while helping reduce recidivism and support long-term independence.

  • Building Real Opportunities

Through skill-building, coaching, and community partnerships, we’re creating lasting pathways to stability and career growth. Our workforce programs are designed to open doors — offering job placement in a growing industry with long-term career potential and financial independence.

  • Community Outreach

With a stronger home base, we’ll expand the Pup Relief Tour — offering mobile grooming, education, and resources to more communities. From Harlem to global partnerships, your support powers access and care where it’s needed most — especially for families in crisis, individuals in transitional housing, underserved youth, and pet owners facing financial hardship.
